🎓 Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
LNCBM offers a two-year full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), equivalent to an MBA, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is a well-researched program designed specifically to cater to the needs of the Industry. The entire PGDM program has been divided into 2 Years. In the first year of the program, students learn the fundamentals of management. In the second year, they can choose from the different specializations offered by the college.
Presently specialization in the areas of – Marketing Managenent, Finance, Hospital Management, IT Management & Rural Management etc . are being offered. At the end of the first year, students are required to do a month internship in companies, which exposes them to real work situations and helps them integrate and synchronize their conceptual understanding with business realities.

📘 About the PGDM Program

📌PGDM Programme Structure
The PGDM Programme extends from 21 to 24 months, involving six trimesters with a summer internship at a professionally managed organization. The program is carefully designed keeping in view the changing needs of the domestic as well as global business environment. All through the first year, students are exposed to basic concepts in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Quantitative Methods, Operations, Behavioural Sciences, and Strategy through the core courses. These shall lay the foundations for all the functional areas of management and help the students develop an elaborate understanding of the different aspects.
Curriculum
During the second year, students can choose from a range of electives to concentrate on functional areas of interest. The areas currently offered are Marketing, Finance, Hospital Mnanagement, and IT & Rural Management.
A lot of emphasis during the PGDM program is placed on industry-based and research projects. Over the program’s duration, students are expected to conduct research on various aspects of management and subject it to faculty scrutiny and evaluation. This aims to increase students’ comprehension levels in the respective topics.
